When I moved to Whidbey Island in 1979, I was searching for a place to finish raising my daughter. I wanted to live outside of the "Big City" of Seattle where I had been born and raised. 

I found Whidbey Island to provide the peace, serenity, and quality of life that I had longed for and wanted my daughter to experience.

After settling in and living here for a couple of years I volunteered as the Manager of the Langley Chamber of Commerce.  It is from the experiences of that position that I came to be involved with people, families and real estate! And it is from all of those experiences that I'm happy to bring to you The Whidbey Island Armchair Tour. I hope that its descriptions and images will provide you with a helpful overview of just some of the highlights of our very special community!
