A good agent will do more than simply list your home! As an experienced worker in the field of home sales a some of the services I perform for you are:
- List your home: Place your home in the Multiple Listing System (MLS).
- Report on the status of the market: Tell you what the status of the market is in your area.
- Give an accurate value to your home: Discuss the value of your home. This includes suggesting improvements that might increase its worth.
- Predict how long it will take your home to sell: Based on market analysis it is possible to estimate how long your home will take to sell.
- Schedule open houses: In addition to private showings, I will coordinate and host open houses. These open houses can take two different forms: one held for area agents or the buying public.
- Advertise your home: As your agent I will develop a targeted
marketing plan along with you to get your home seen by more potential buyers. This could include print, mailers, reader boards, email, the Northwest Multiple Listing Service and internet.
- Advise you on how to handle offers: I will work closely with you through the negotiation process until you reach agreement to sell or decide to not accept the offer. I will provide you with an estimated settlement statement which will give you an estimate of your closing costs and expenses and of your net proceeds.
- Accepting an Offer: Once you accept an offer, I will maintain and coordinate communication with you, the lender, the selling agreement, our transaction coordinator, and the escrow officer, all to ensure as smooth as possible process all the way through closing.
